性质描述:

无色液体。相对密度0.8858，沸点155℃，闪点（开杯）49℃，折射率1.4199，粘度（25℃）1.24mPa·s。易溶于醇、醚，不溶于水。易聚合。

生产方法:

甲基丙烯酸与异丁醇在硫酸催化下酯化生成，再经精馏得成品。甲基丙烯酸以丙酮氰醇为原料制得。

用途:

甲基丙烯酸异丁酯是有机合成的单体，用于合成树脂、塑料、涂料、印刷油墨、胶粘剂、润滑油添加剂、牙科材料、纤维处理剂、纸张涂饰剂等。
