性质描述:

白色或微带黄色结晶性粉未。熔点164-165℃。溶于醇、醚、丙酮、氯仿、丙二醇、聚乙二醇、橄榄油、棉子油和稀碱液，实际不溶于水。无气味或微带苯酚气味。

生产方法:

由2,4,5-三氯酚与甲醛或聚甲醛反应而得。将三氯酚、聚甲醛和硫酸搅拌混合，升温至75℃，反应液由稀薄变得稠厚，又立即由稠厚变为稀薄，将反应液倒入大量冰水中。过滤，滤饼用热水洗至中性，用稀碱溶解后加热至90℃，加入保险粉和活性炭，脱色30min。过滤，滤液加盐酸调节pH至2-3，冷至50℃以下，甩滤，滤饼用水洗涤，于80℃干燥，得六氯酚粗品。粗品经重结晶、精制即得成品。收率66%。另一种操作方法是使反应在溶剂二氯乙烷中进行，即将70g三氯酚、125ml二氯乙烷和32g20%发烟硫酸混合，加热至70-88℃，在1h内边搅拌边加入5.8g聚甲醛。全部加完后，回流1.5h，慢慢加入125ml二氯乙烷。停止搅拌，从底部将重硫酸层分离，用62ml二氯乙烷分两次提取硫酸层。将提取液与反应液分出的二氯乙烷层合并，加3g脱色炭脱色，然后在80℃过滤，加125ml水后，用水蒸汽蒸馏，将馏出物中悬浮的生成物滤出，干燥，得67.5-70g六氯酚。

用途:

六氯酚对革兰氏阳性菌特别有效，而对革半氏阴性菌效力差，对高酸菌、霉菌及牙胞杆菌、病毒、螺旋体等无效。石炭酸系数为125。该品曾大量用于痱子、襁褓斑疹、面疱的治疗药及婴儿扑粉、药皂等。对氯酚对皮肤几乎没有刺激作用。
