性质描述:	奶油色针状结晶。熔点70-71℃，沸点370℃。22℃时在水中的溶解度为0.7-1.7ppm。易溶于甲苯、乙醇等有机溶剂。化学性质稳定，对金属无腐蚀作用。
生产方法:	由2，4-二氯酚与对硝基氯苯在氢氧化钾（或氢氧化钠）存在下直接缩合而得。
用途:	除草醚为芽前或芽后早期使用的接触性除草剂，可杀死大多数一年生杂草，例如水田中稗草、牛毛草、鸭舌草、三棱草等，也可杀死旱田中的马唐、狗尾草、旱稗等。对胡萝卜、芹菜、白菜等伞形花科和十字花科的菜地可防除杂草，也适用于茶桑果园及苗圃。对某些多年生杂草有一定抑制用，但不能根除。
