性质描述:

苧烯有右旋体和左旋体两种异构体。存在于各种香精油，特别是柠檬油、橙子油、苧蒿油、莳萝油、佛手柑油中。常温下为无色易燃液体，有好闻的柠檬香味。右旋体双戊二烯的相对密度0.8402，沸点175.5-176℃（101.72kPa）；凝固点-95.5℃，折射率1.4727；旋光度[α]123.8°，左旋体相对密度0.8407，沸点175.5-176.5℃（101.72kPa），折射率1.474，旋光度[α]-101.3°，消旋体相对密度0.8404，沸点178.64℃，凝固点-95.3℃，折射率1.4727。苧烯不溶于水，与乙醇混溶。与干燥氯化氢或溴化氢生成一卤化物，与液态氯化氢或溴化氢生成二卤化物。在空气中氧化生成薄膜，氧化的行为与橡胶和干性油的氧化相似。

生产方法:

广泛存在于天然的植物精油中。其中主要含右旋体的有蜜柑油、柠檬油、香橙油、樟脑白油等。含左旋体的有薄荷油等。含消旋体的有橙花油，杉油和樟脑白油等。在制造本品时，分别由上述精油进行分馏制取，也可以从一般精油中萃取萜烯，或在加工樟脑油及合成樟脑的过程中，作为副产物制得。所得双戊烯，经蒸馏提纯可得苧烯。用松节油作原料，进行分馏、切取α-蒎烯，经异构化制莰烯，然后分馏得到。莰烯的副产物为双戊烯。此外，用松节油水合制松油醇时也可副产双戊烯。

用途:

用作磁漆、假漆和各种含油树脂、树脂蜡、金属催干剂和溶剂；用于制造合成树脂合成橡胶；用于调合橙花香精、柑桔油香精等；也可制成柠檬系精油的代用品。柠檬烯定向氧化生成香芹酮；在无机酸存在下，柠檬烯与水加成反应生成α-松油醇和水合萜二醇；在铂或色催化剂作用下加氢生成对烷，脱氢则生成对伞花烃。还用作油类分散剂、橡胶添加剂、润湿剂等。
