性质描述:

白色或淡黄色结晶体。熔点71℃，沸点265℃，相对密度1.048（20/4℃），折光率1.4859（75℃）。常温下在下列中的溶解度：甲醇25%，乙醇25-26%；异丙醇30%，矿物油30%，丙酮40%，石油醚50%，苯40%，猪油（40-50℃）40-50%，玉米油及大豆油40-50%。在水、10%NaOH溶液、甘油、丙二醇中不溶。无臭，无味，具有很好的热稳定性。

生产方法:

异丁醇经气化后，在触媒存在下进行脱水反应生成异丁烯，与对甲酚进行烷化反应而得。千克/吨异丁醇（95%） 1400对甲酚（80%） 1000

用途:

作通用型酚类抗氧剂。广泛用于高分子材料、石油制品和食品加工工业中。本品是常用的橡胶防老剂。对热、氧老化有一定的防护作用，也能抑制铜害。单独使用没有抗臭氧能力，但与抗臭氧剂及蜡并用可防护天候的各种因素对硫化胶的损害。在丁苯胶中亦可作为胶凝抑制剂。在橡胶中一般用量为0.5-3份。当用量增至3-5份时亦不会喷霜。本品还可做为合成橡胶后的处理和贮存时的稳定剂，可用于丁苯橡胶、顺丁橡胶、乙丙橡胶、氯丁橡胶等胶种。抗氧剂264在一些高分子材料中是有效的抗氧剂。本品在聚乙烯、聚氯乙烯（用量0.01-0.1%）及聚乙烯基醚中是有效的稳定剂。抗氧剂264是各种石油产品的优良抗氧添加剂。油溶性好。本品还可作食品加工工业用的抗氧剂，用于含油脂较多的食品中。在油脂、黄油、鱼贝干制品、鱼贝类盐腌品、鲸肉冷冻品等中的用量为0.2克/公斤以下，在口香糖中0.75克/公斤以下。本品的用法有浸渍法、直接混合法、溶于乙醇后的混合法及喷雾法等。美、日和欧洲共同体都将本品作为法定的饲料添加剂，欧洲共同体规定，在饲料中的最大用量为150ppm，可用于各种饲料。
