性质描述:

无色液体。熔点-70℃，沸点194℃，相对密度1.035（20/4℃），折光率1.4233。闪点83℃。能与水、醇、甘油、醚、丙酮、苯、四氯化碳混溶。具吸湿性，有芳香气味。

生产方法:

由乙二醇单甲醚与环氧乙烷反应而得。

用途:

用作油墨、染料、树脂、纤维素及涂料的高沸点溶剂，也用于有机合成。该品对鼠口服LD50为9200mg/kg。
