| 性质描述: | 无色粘稠液体。熔点-34.1℃，沸点176℃，155.6℃（53.3kPa），136.6℃（26.7kPa）119.5℃（13.3kPa）99.8℃（5.33kPa），85.8℃（2.67kPa），74.7℃（1.33kPa），64.3℃（0.67kPa），42.4℃（0.133kPa），相对密度0.8187（25/4℃），折光率1.4224（25℃），闪点73℃。能与乙醚、乙醇混溶，该品在1L水中的溶解克数：18℃时为1g，100℃时2.85g，130℃时5.15g。有芳香气味。 |
| 生产方法: | 由正庚醛还原而得。将1.8kg铁屑、3L水和0.45kg庚醛一起搅拌，加热回流6-7h，然后进行水蒸汽蒸馏，约得馏出物7-8L，分出油层，加入1L20%的氢氧庚酯水解。分现油层进行蒸馏，收集172-176℃馏分，可得约350g庚醇。还原反应也可在稀盐酸存在下进行。另外，戊烷与环氧乙烷在无水溴化铝存在下反应，也可制得庚醇。 |
