性质描述:

三乙醇胺的物化性质参见“乙醇胺”。其主要物性数据如下：熔点21.2℃，沸点360.0℃，227℃（20kPa），相对密度（20/4℃）1.1242，动力粘度（25℃）613.3mPa·s，折射率（nD20）1.4852，闪点193℃。能与水、甲醇和丙酮混溶。在25℃时的溶解度为：苯4.2%，乙醚1.6%，四氯化碳0.4%，正庚烷小于0.1%。微有氨的气味，极易吸潮，能吸收空气中二氧化碳，露置空气中以及在光线下变成棕色。

生产方法:

将环氧乙烷、氨水送入反应器中，在反应温度30-40℃，反应压力70.9-304kPa下，进行缩合反应生成一、二、三乙醇胺混合液，在90-120℃下经脱水浓缩后，送入三个减压精馏塔进行减压蒸馏，按不同沸点截取馏分，则可得纯度达99%的一乙醇胺、二乙醇胺和三乙醇胺成品。在反应过程中，如加大环氧乙烷比例，则二、三乙醇胺生成比例增大，可提高二、三乙醇胺的收率。

用途:

用作脱除气体中二氧化碳或硫化氢的清净液。三乙醇胺和高级脂肪酸形成的酯广泛用作洗涤剂、乳化剂、湿润剂和润滑剂，也用于配制化妆用香脂。三乙醇胺还用作防腐剂和防水剂、分析试剂和溶剂等。在丁腈橡胶聚合中作为活化剂，也可在酸性条件下作油类、蜡类的乳化剂、稳定剂，纺织物的软化剂。是绦纶等合成纤维纺丝油剂的组分之一。
