Evonik Noblyst® P1095 5% Pd is a palladium on carbon catalyst. It has been shown to be effective in the following reactions:
- hydrogenation of alkenes and alkynes to alkanes
- hydrogenation of aromatic carbonyls to alcohols
- dehydrogenation of carbocyclic rings to aromatics
- hydrogenolysis reactions
- C-C coss coupling reactions
