This is substrate peptide for Main protease from SARS-Cov2, 3CL protease (Mpro),. This substrate allows measuring the activity of 3CL protease using a standard plate reader or spectrophotometer.Proteolytic cleavage by 3CL protease will release the flourecent AFC group from the peptide. After relase an increase in floursence is obtained (Ex: 400nm, Em: 505nm) .
