Double-Safe thermometers are PTFE coated Easy-Read thermometers with black Enviro-Safe liquid and yellow back lead free glass. Double-Safe thermometers prevent contamination of the glass and liquid in the event of breakage. Double-Safe is the ideal replacement for mercury thermometers banned (or partially banned) in many US states and most European countries.
